• I have been using samsung galaxy watch
• active 2 for the last
• one year and i've been thinking about
• sharing my experiences and thoughts
• about this
• watch so here i am sharing both pros and
• cons about this amazing device
• and i will also tell you whether you
• should consider buying it in 2021
• if you are new to samsung watch after
• all the design experiments now samsung
• offers their smart watches in mainly
• three categories
• one is the smart band then we have
• galaxy watch series which is a bit
• chunkier with a rotating bezel on it
• and the active series to which the watch
• active 2 belongs
• one of the most important reasons i got
• this watch is its design
• it has the simple plain yet a premium
• looking design which offers a thin bezel
• since my wrists are small it suits
• pretty well the variant i have here is
• an aluminium crown silver
• 44 mm bluetooth version it also comes in
• 40mm dial and these are offered in few
• subtle colors
• we also get a lte variant if you are
• interested in
• all right now before we continue if you
• are interested in watching contents on

• applications
• consider subscribing to the channel and

• all right now this watch comes with 20
• mm silicon strap which is changeable
• easily
• you can use any standard 22 mm strap to
• this and
• that is kind of exciting to wear it
• whenever i buy a new strap
• it weighs about 20 grams without the

• on the right we have home key and back
• key the 1.4 inches 34 mm circular screen
• is a super amoled display with 360 by
• 360 resolution
• this display is just fantastic the
• visibility is quite good even under the
• sunlight
• it's crisp and sharp display which you
• would love to have a look at
• this comes with corning gorilla glass dx
• plus it is a rugged glass for wearable
• screens
• i've been wearing it without a screen
• protector and there is not a single
• scratch on the screen
• and even the aluminum frame doesn't get
• the smudges that easily
• in fact i do not have a single scratch
• on the frame as well of course it
• depends on the user
• if you are someone who bump into things
• easily then you better put on a screen
• protector and a protective case on the
• dial
• on the back we have hr sensor and there
• is no spo2 sensor here
• so keep this in mind if you are looking
• for this particular feature
• this comes with 768 mb of ram 4gb
• internal memory
• this is sufficient for now but i feel in
• the next one or two years this watch
• will start lagging for sure
• as far as the battery is concerned it
• has 340 mah battery which lasts about
• one and a half days with aod
• and health centric features turned on we
• can extend it to about two days without
• the aod
• and all the health centric features
• turned off this is of course rated ip68
• water resistance
• so you can go swimming without any
• hesitation now the watch came with
• tizen os 4.0 and few months ago we have
• got 5.0 based on one eye 2.0
• which was a major update which brought
• in some major changes to the watch
• this os is fluid very intuitive easy
• to use which also offers more than 80
• 000 customizable watch faces
• that is one of the best features about
• this watch we will never get bored of
• the watch faces because there are so
• many free and premium watch faces to
• change on a daily basis

• centric features such as hr monitor

• samsung stands out with its samsung
• health application on the phone
• this offers a very well organized and
• detailed data of each and every aspects
• of the health centric features on the
• phone
• it's very easy to track and understand
• it the recent tizen os 5.5 update has
• added some new features like vivo 2 max
• fault detection
• running analysis running coach
• continuous exercise modes
• auto detect exercise etc this shows
• samsung
• is committed to offer updates with added
• features to their previous generations
• as well
• i've covered these features in few of my
• other videos i will leave those link in
• the description if you're interested you
• can go ahead and have a look at them
• now coming to the other smart features
• this watch will show the notifications
• from most of the applications from your
• phone
• we can take calls and reply to messages
• with ease
• the speaker quality is not that great
• though it is not clear at high volumes
• the mic is good it can receive your
• voice from about
• one to two feet distance without any
• issues you have phone dialer and contact
• app on the watch itself
• we can store songs directly to the watch
• and use music player to play them
• not many of us prefer doing that so
• spotify can be used as a standalone
• application on the watch
• for music when connected to your phone's
• data or wi-fi
• which is pretty cool now let's talk
• about some cons of the watch
• first thing is the availability of the
• applications
• on galaxy store on tizen os we hardly
• get any useful applications on the store
• all those stock apps are available on
• the watch which are useful
• such as the calculator calendar mail
• music
• timer gallery voice recorder weather etc
• i would have allowed to have google maps
• navigation on the watch which is not
• provided by samsung by default
• and third-party applications are hardly
• any on the store
• then the voice assistant the infamous
• bixby is still annoying
• the google assistant can be installed
• though but that doesn't work flawlessly
• either
• the battery life could have been better
• but given the watch's form factor and
• battery size
• 1.5 days to 2 days is decent enough i
• hope this
• improves over time with the next
• generations to come speaking of which we
• have rumors about
• samsung launching the wear os watch 4
• and watch active 4.
• let's wait and see what is in the store
• for us another important point to note
• is the promised
• blood pressure monitor and ecg are not
• made available in most of the countries
• few months ago ecg was made official in
• the u.s and it's
• gonna come to a few other european
• countries as well as officially
• announced by samson
• i'm not really sure how many of you got
• this update if you have got it do let

• the blood pressure monitoring update
• seems to be well behind
• of course you can sideload all these
• applications by changing the region and
• installing those
• required files however an official
• update would be great
• i'm not really sure when are we going to
• get it in my region i haven't got any of
• these updates yet
• there's no ecg no blood pressure monitor
• at all so before buying any of these
• smart watches from samsung or any other
• brands make sure the availability of
• these features in your region
• and do go through all the disclaimers
• mentioned on samsung's website or any
• other brand's website
• that is really important if you're
• buying this watch particularly for any
• health centric features
• all right so all in all this is a
• wonderful smart watch which you can
• consider buying in 2021
• the kind of deals we are getting
• nowadays for this watch makes it
• value for money purchase the cons i
• mentioned are not really gonna bother
