Wireless bluetooth headphones i don't think there's ever been a better time than now to consider buying a pair if you have been thinking about for a while because there are so many great options at different price points these are a pair of sound core by anchor liberty air 2 pros and i've been using them for over a week in this video i want to talk to you about them and hopefully help answer that question for you whether or not you should buy these true wireless noise cancelling earbuds here on m4 reviews so the liberty air 2 pro are new products by soundcore which is from the company anka and they've garnered a lot of attention as it says on the box recommended by 10 grammy musicians and artists before i talk about the earbuds themselves let's give you a closer look at the box itself and what you can expect to find inside it comes in this really nice box that has plenty of information and details about the earbuds on the back you'll see that you've got the earbuds themselves you've got a charging case up to nine different ear tips which i'll talk about in a moment and a usbc cable for charging it now they're available in a range of different colors the one that i've been using is this beautiful blue color it's like a subtle blue uh that looks really really nice and this charging case feels certainly very premium the earbuds themselves do have a slight plasticky feel inside but they don't feel cheap one of the advantages of being so light is that in the ears they actually don't feel very heavy so when i had them on for prolonged periods of time i didn't really notice them in my ears this is going to be great if you are using this to travel around and you want something portable on the front over here you've got some leds that will light up giving you an indicator of how much battery is left and then on the back you've got a usb c port with a button now one of the really cool things about this case is check this out it will charge wirelessly with a qi enabled charger so that is a big big cool point if you are into that kind of ecosystem now inside here you'll notice that you get the earbuds themselves if i take one of them out just to give you an indicator it's got this long stem with this area near the sound core the d looking logo that basically uh can be used for multifunction so there are a couple of options that you can customize then you've got the earbud themselves and then you've got the tip on the end now i think this is one of the key things about the liberty air 2 pro one of the advantages is unlike a lot of other manufacturers that only include maybe two or three tips you get up to nine different tips basically any and every possible size that you could want to make sure that they fit securely and snugly in your ear so if you're planning on wearing these to the gym or for a run around rain then you'll be happy to know that these are actually ipx4 in terms of certification that means that with slight sweats with a bit of water they will perform perfectly fine you can't go swimming with these or dunking these entirely in flowing water but for most people's cases particularly sports and gym use these are going to do the job when i pull aside the ear tip you'll notice uh the other end and this is basically something called pure note technology the driver is coated with 10 hardened nano layers that help with accuracy and clarity of sound so right out of the box the liberty air 2 pro are pretty good but if you want real customization it's available with the of a free application it's a sound core application from ios or android and that's really where you're able to get yourself the customized listening experience with these things there are a couple of things that really stand out first of all as far as the software is concerned it's quite intuitive easy to use generally the two things that really stand out for me the first one is here id and this is the ability to essentially with a multi-level range of steps customize the listening experience depending on your own sound profile so there will be a couple of sounds that you hear at different frequencies and by that it will determine and tweak the listening experiences in general for you now i went through this step and i have to admit that prior to doing the here id setup i found that the audio on this was a lot bassier than i was expecting but after the here id once the sound profile had been matched it was much more balanced for my hearing so i could hear the mids and it was just overall a bit more clearer less bassy when i wanted it to be so that's something that i think is really functional another cool feature is the fact that you know there are multi levels to the active noise cancellation that are available in fact you have multi levels within not only active noise cancellation but also in transparency mode as well those are possible through the app itself but if you're running ios and i install this on my iphone 12 pro max what i was able to do was actually set up a widget so that once they're connected without going into the app itself you're able to adjust between the different modes directly and that really saves you a lot of time and it's just easier all round coming back to the active noise cancellation so there are interesting three modes there's a transport outdoor and indoor mode and what this does is it changes up the level of active noise cancellation to make it ideal for those different scenarios so whether you're out on public transport you know whether you're out in nature or whether you have those activated for indoor use so as far as sound quality is concerned they are very good and i think most people will be more than happy for the streaming sound applications like apple music spotify that you'll be using these for in terms of yes sound quality generally more on the bassier side as i mentioned earlier on but there are a ton of customizations to make sure not only with here id but also controls over the eq to get the best sound that you are looking for now as far as the microphones are concerned these have six noise cancelling microphones that are going to be great for the voice calls the audio calls that you're going to be making so what about the all-important battery life with these well anker advertised these as with seven hours of continuous music use that is assuming with anc turned off i had these at about 50 volume with indoor anc engaged and i was getting about four hours and 40 minutes to about four and a half hours which is pretty decent now what is interesting however is the charging speed so putting them in the case you're going to get according to anka an additional 19 hours of battery again bear in mind that that is probably with anc turned off but still what really impressed me about these was the charging speed time so putting them in here with about 15 minutes of charge was giving me about two and a half hours of additional sort of listening time which means that overall you're gonna get pretty decent battery life with these even with anc enabled the final thing that i want to mention is the price point so these are currently available now in this market from retailers and they are priced at 529 dirhams which is a very very good buy when you consider everything that you're getting with these true wireless earbuds everything from the case to the lightweight feel and all those customization options not only with the active noise cancellation but also with the sound profiles makes the
